Toxicator 2013 with 40 Futurelight PLB-130
9200 visitors on three floors, artists from 7 countries, one night: The Toxicator 2013, one of the biggest hard style indoor festivals in Germany, was a total success – also thanks to 40 Futurelight PLB-130 Moving Heads.
For friends of hardstyle and hardcore techno, the Toxicator has been an essential part of the scene since 2009. To put the music’s fast beats into the limelight, the company responsible for the stage design, audiluma, concentrated on fast light equipment with sharp beams. The Futurelight PLB-130 with its Osram Sirius HRI 132 W lamp and its beam angle of only 2° fit right in.
Compact, lightweight, impressive
Wolfgang Vogel, general manager of audiluma, on the choice of the Futurelight devices: „On the main floor, 40 PLB-130 were used. Mainly because the lamp is pretty compact and lightweight, yet has an impressive and powerful beam. Furthermore, fast Pan-Tilt-moves are possible, which is an advantage for this music“.
New record number of visitors
The Toxicator is one of the biggest hard style indoor festivals in Germany. It is organized by I-Motion GmbH and is becoming more and more popular. In its fifth year, the Toxicator again had record numbers of visitors: On December, 7th 2013, between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m., 9200 visitors found their way into the Maimarkt halls in Mannheim.
