The first full-fledged lighting controller in a foot bar

Program a light show and control it with your feet later – that’s possible now with the foot controller Bigfoot by Eurolite. Bigfoot is a full-fledged lighting controller, packed in a foot bar.

Bigfoot foot controller

Create shows and call them up

While most foot controllers are mainly designed for playing pre-installed effects, Bigfoot goes one step further: It enables you to program creative light shows and to control them by feet. Up to 12 devices with 16 DMX channels each can be operated at the same time – from PAR spots to moving heads.

Color and movement effects

Pre-programmed color and movement effects make programming shows easier. Up to 15 chases with several steps can be saved and combined to a show in live operation mode.

Comfortable use

The Bigfoot is divided into two sections. Above the handle is the programming section with potentiometers and buttons. Below the handle, which also serves as impact protection for the potentiometers, is the live section. It consists of 6 robust foot switches and 2 big pedals. The switches are the same which are used for guitar effects. You control the speed, choose and start a program, use the blackout function or activate the sound control mode with them.

The pedals control the fading time of the scenes as well as the master dimmer function for the brightness. If desired, the latter can also be used for controlling other functions or devices like a fog machine.

The two displays guide through the programming and make use easier by presenting the names of your shows, their speed etc. in live operation mode.

Robust and durable – with case

Made of stable metal, Bigfoot withstands knocks and kicks. Thanks to the big handle, it can also be carried very easily. An optional case protects the controller during transport and provides for a secure position during operation.

The quick-change artist among the moving heads

Eurolite presents matrix effect with zoom

Eurolite LED TMH-X25 Zoom

Eurolite LED TMH-X25 Zoom

Waldbüttelbrunn, April 28th 2017: A real quick-change artist was presented by Eurolite at the Prolight+Sound 2017: The TMH-X25 Zoom unites moving head, matrix effect and beam spot in one device. This way, it offers absolute flexibility.

Endless possibilities

Viewed from the outside, the TMH-X25 looks like a matrix effect on the base of a moving head. 5 x 5 LEDs with RGBW color mixture are at the light designer’s disposal for creating colorful patterns, numbers, letters or animations. Each LED can be controlled individually. The device is controlled by DMX or Art-Net.

Powerful beam

On closer inspection, you detect the zoom, which changes the spot’s beam angle steplessly from 7.5° to 60°. This way, the moving head can also be used as a beam spot – the 25 LEDs with 12 W each are definitely strong enough to produce a powerful beam. Thanks to its Infinity function, the moving head can move endlessly in PAN or TILT direction.

Absolute flexibility

The impressive effect can be used for different purposes thanks to its versatile equipment: As matrix effect in a club, as beam effect on live stages or as background light in TV studios; the TMH-X25 always looks great. Its motorized zoom and the Infinity function make the spot absolutely flexible.

Eurolite comes out with hypnotizing effects with light rings

Waldbüttelbrunn, Match 22nd 2017: In the run-up to Prolight&Sound 2017, the brand Eurolite brings new LED moving heads with compact dimensions and amazing effects to the market: The devices with the melodious name “Hypno” captivate viewers with luminous rings.

It’s all in the name

The name predicts the characteristics of these moving heads: LED rings, which are arranged around the lense, create hypnotizing effects in bright colors, while a light beam comes out of their center.

Two versions

At the moment, there are two versions of the Hypno, which, despite their similar looks, differ in their composition: The spot version is equipped with a powerful, white 30 W COB LED; you can modify the projection by using color wheels and gobos. Around the lense, three LED rings with a total of 76 RGB SMD LEDs have been arranged.

The second version owns a 60 W COB LED in RGBW colors, which creates a vividly colored beam. Around this, four LED rings with a total of 88 RGB SMD LEDs are at your disposal. You can control the LED rings completely individually on both devices. The moving heads can be controlled via DMX or operated in stand alone mode.

Compact and lightweight

Despite their impressive effect and their assertive light power, the dimensions of the Hypnos are manageable: Both versions are only 35 cm high and weigh only 5 kg. This makes them excellent for mobile use; solo entertainers or smaller bands are well equipped with these devices. Even when installed in clubs, the Hypnos perform perfectly.

Omnitronic publishes redesigned version of popular rotary mixer

TRM-202 MK3 will be presented at Prolight+Sound 2017

Waldbüttelbrunn, March 17th 2017: Just in time for the Prolight+Sound, Omnitronic presents a redesigned version of the popular TRM-202 rotary mixer. As its predecessor, the MK3 model is equipped with ALPS potentiometers and a 3-band frequency isolator. The high quality components provide for attractive sound and smooth transitions – a feature, which is particularly interesting for DJs and fans of electronic music.

The mixer has been redesigned and optimized.

Compared to the previous model, the TRM-202 got a new face. It is less squarish and more rectangular. The sides have moved closer together, the height increased a little bit: The design has been streamlined and became clearer. The two channels are now clearly separated and their potentiometers have wandered to the left and right. Master and booth regulators are placed in the center. Besides them, two level meters for the master signal can be found – they were placed horizontally at the upper edge before.

The design became clearer

Surface / View from above

The technical insides have also changed: While the MK2 version featured three inputs for every channel, there are now only two inputs – which can be switched from Phono to Line. Each channel has its own gain regulator at the back side – they were not existing on the previous model. What remained untouched are the big frequency isolators for the master section at the top. Completely new is the optionally available case, which perfectly protects the TRM on the road.

Also the technology has been optimized.

Connections

In terms of prices, Omnitronic remains true to itself: The MK3 version of the rotary mixer is in the same price range as its predecessor with 535 €. The TRM-202 MK3 will be presented for the first time at the Prolight+Sound 2017 in April 2017. The mixer will presumably be available in summer 2017.

Built Your Own Dream Guitar: With the DIMAVERY DIY Guitar Construction Kit

July 22nd, 2016 Posted in DIMAVERY, Product news, Videos, worth knowing Tags: , ,

There have been many different guitar shapes created in guitar history: The range goes from the classic T, ST and LP styles to V and Explorer shapes and even really unusual shapes like a cross between V and SG types. And it gets even more adventurous: Remember ZZ Top’s fur guitars or Prince’s “Love Symbol” guitar?

It is very intriguing for a lot of guitar players to play a guitar with its own, individual and outstanding design. If you’re not exactly a luthier or able to pay five-digit sums, it usually remains a dream.

Build your own guitar with a DIMAVERY construction kit

But there actually is a very easy way for you to get your own, self-designed guitar: You can build and design your own ST or T-style guitar with the DIMAVERY DIY guitar construction kit. You don’t even need much technical knowledge: Everything you need for assembly is a screwdriver, a soldering iron, and some solder. And there are many really easy and creative possibilities for you to design your guitar.

The construction kits are geared towards beginners and creative tinkerers who always wanted to develop their own guitar. Thanks to their ST- and T-style, they offer the best compromise between playability, diversity of sound and simple assembly.
The kits are completely pre-prepared, no more grinding or priming necessary. But even before painting the guitar, there is room for creativity by shaping the body and headstock to your own taste, providing there is enough wood left for pickups and electronics (and some wood for tone). The
n finally there are a couple possible ways to design the guitar in color:

Limits are only set by your own imagination. You can lacquer the guitar traditionally and finish it with clear lacquer, but also just stain it and preserve the nice wood grain. Or how about swirling? That way, you can create really nice colorful or even psychedelic color patterns. With a little bit of time and preparation, you will create a unique guitar on your own.

Technical equipment

The guitars are equipped in traditional ST and T-style: Three single coil pickups with a five-way blade, two tone and one volume potis on the ST models; two single coils, three-way-blade, one tone and one volume poti on the TL model. The electronics are completely pre-installed, you don’t have to install anything. Simply place the pickguards on to the pre-drilled holes. Only the open cables have to be soldered, no problem with a little practice.

Good guitars, as individual as you

Ultimately, the DIMAVERY DIY ST-10, ST-20, and TL-10 guitars are very good instruments. The wutong body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard make the ST-10 very lightweight and give it a clear sound. The basswood body of the ST-20 and TL-10 gives them a smooth and versatile sound with nice mids. The DIY guitar construction kits are perfectly suited for beginners and ambitious tinkerers who always had wanted to build and design their very own guitar.
