With the DMH-200, Futurelight presents a powerful moving head with wide zoom

A moving head with a powerful LED, first class equipment and wide zoom: Futurelight presents this with its new DMH-200, which shows off its strengths especially when it comes to projections. The beam angle can be widened from 7.5° to 40°. Whether on a rock stage or in a theater, this spot feels comfortable on many terrains.

Futurelight DMH-200

The new moving head of the long-established company offers particularly sharp projections, even on short distances. The projections are very bright and – if needed – also really big. Narrow beams on a show stage or wide projections in a theater – the Futurelight DMH-200 masters these tasks brilliantly; not only due to the zoom, but also thanks to the motorized focus, its steplessly dimmable COB LED and the stepless frost filter.

The 200 W strong, white COB LED of the DMH-200 produces an enormous light output, so the spot is very assertive even on big stages. The color wheel offers 8 dichroitic colors. A rotating 3-facet prism and two gobo wheels provide for variety; one is equipped with 7 rotating, indexable and quickly changeable gobos, the other one with 7 static gobos. Both gobo wheels can be used in combination.

With a little more than 20 kilograms, the DMH-200 is a lightweight among the spots in its brightness class. 3-pin and 5-pin XLR connectors for the DMX signal as well as Powercon input and output are at your disposal.

The DMH-200 has been designed for mid-sized and big stages. It is perfectly suited for festivals and rock shows. Thanks to its unobtrusive, flicker free operation, the moving head can also be used in quiet surroundings like theaters and TV studios.

Eurolite presents matrix effect with zoom

Eurolite LED TMH-X25 Zoom

A real quick-change artist was presented by Eurolite at the Prolight+Sound 2017: The TMH-X25 Zoom unites moving head, matrix effect and beam spot in one device. This way, it offers absolute flexibility.

Endless possibilities

Viewed from the outside, the TMH-X25 looks like a matrix effect on the base of a moving head. 5 x 5 LEDs with RGBW color mixture are at the light designer’s disposal for creating colorful patterns, numbers, letters or animations. Each LED can be controlled individually. The device is controlled by DMX or Art-Net.

Powerful beam

On closer inspection, you detect the zoom, which changes the spot’s beam angle steplessly from 7.5° to 60°. This way, the moving head can also be used as a beam spot – the 25 LEDs with 12 W each are definitely strong enough to produce a powerful beam. Thanks to its Infinity function, the moving head can move endlessly in PAN or TILT direction.

Absolute flexibility

The impressive effect can be used for different purposes thanks to its versatile equipment: As matrix effect in a club, as beam effect on live stages or as background light in TV studios; the TMH-X25 always looks great. Its motorized zoom and the Infinity function make the spot absolutely flexible.

Eurolite comes out with hypnotizing effects with light rings

In the run-up to Prolight&Sound 2017, the brand Eurolite brings new LED moving heads with compact dimensions and amazing effects to the market: The devices with the melodious name “Hypno” captivate viewers with luminous rings.

Eurolite LED TMH Hypno-61

It’s all in the name

The name predicts the characteristics of these moving heads: LED rings, which are arranged around the lense, create hypnotizing effects in bright colors, while a light beam comes out of their center.

Two versions

At the moment, there are two versions of the Hypno, which, despite their similar looks, differ in their composition: The spot version is equipped with a powerful, white 30 W COB LED; you can modify the projection by using color wheels and gobos. Around the lense, three LED rings with a total of 76 RGB SMD LEDs have been arranged.

The second version owns a 60 W COB LED in RGBW colors, which creates a vividly colored beam. Around this, four LED rings with a total of 88 RGB SMD LEDs are at your disposal. You can control the LED rings completely individually on both devices. The moving heads can be controlled via DMX or operated in stand alone mode.

Compact and lightweight

Despite their impressive effect and their assertive light power, the dimensions of the Hypnos are manageable: Both versions are only 35 cm high and weigh only 5 kg. This makes them excellent for mobile use; solo entertainers or smaller bands are well equipped with these devices. Even when installed in clubs, the Hypnos perform perfectly.

Ambient light for open air movies

August 20th, 2015 Posted in EUROLITE, General, News, References Tags: ,

Warm summer nights under the open sky, movies and light installations. At the open air cinema “Festungsflimmern” in Würzburg, the organizers not only offered an attractive selection of movies. There were also great lighting ideas: For example an ambient light for the big screen.

The fortress Marienberg is a historical backdrop. Of course it lends itself then to light up the old walls, corridors and trenches. That was exactly what the organizers of the company „°die eine… event“ did – with numerous Eurolite spots. A special idea was to install a background light similar to the ambient light of TV screens, which increases the projection surface for the eye and blends the scenery in the overall view harmoniously.

This idea was realized with Eurolite IP Pads. In the bigger outdoor movie theater, big trees behind the screen served as projection surface. In the smaller theater, the ivy-covered walls served as reflecting object. Nicolas Manger, initiator of the open air movies, is happy with the effect: „We just tried it. The spots are really powerful, so we could light up all our backdrops with just a few devices.“

At the fifth edition of the event, 25 movies from „Moulin Rouge“ to „Wild Tales“ attracted more than 11 000 visitors. Prior to the movies, bands and musicians performed and spread festival atmosphere. This year, the team of 25 helpers was confronted with rain in the first days and then heat of 40°C – but that was not a problem for humans nor technology. Thanks to IP equipment, the Eurolite spots still shone when German musician Andreas Kümmert played in the rain and people danced in front of the stage in rain capes.

Installed were 12 LED IP Pads with 24x8W QCL, 12 LED IP Pars 24x3W TCL, 20 LED IP T1000 RGB 10mm and 5 LED IP FL-150 COB 3000K 120°.

“Extra hot!“: LED effects with laser

February 10th, 2015 Posted in EUROLITE, News, Press releases, Prolight+Sound Tags: , ,

A lot of hybrid effect devices are cavorting on the market. So far, these have been combinations of acceptable single effects, which made a satisfactory mixture. Now, these effects impress like never before, as their fine tuning is better than ever – and especially the integrated lasers are really convincing.

Just on time prior to the Prolight+Sound 2015, Eurolite now brings three effect devices on the market, which combine well-established LED effects with a laser class M2. That not only saves installation time, but provides perfect use of space – and a colorful light show of course, even at small events.

Choice of three models

You have the choice between a KLS, a hybrid flower effect and an LED bar. If you know the KLS from Eurolite, you can guess that there’s more hidden in a KLS with integrated laser – this representative of the family offers a nearly complete club lighting on one bar: Two derby effects, four strobes and two slim spots share the bar with the laser. The KLS comes pre-assembled in a transport bag.

Almost as well equipped is the FE-1500 Hybrid Laser Flower. The classic flower effect has been fitted with 8 strobe LEDs and a laser and now appears as a colorful bouquet of lights.

The third effect is the LED Laser Bar, offering 190 LEDs. Located in the center of the color changing bar is a laser with the colors red and green.

All three effects can be controlled by DMX. The LED Laser Bar additionally features an infrared remote control – the KLS even comes with a remote control and wireless foot switch.

Saving time and space

All three devices can be installed quickly and bring a party mood even into the smallest locations. This makes them the perfect devices for small rooms as well as for mobile DJs and solo entertainers.

The effects can be seen at the Prolight+Sound 2015 at the booth of Steinigke Showtechnic (hall 11.0. booth A17).
